The Cat Rescue Diary – August 2018

Welcome to the premier edition of THE CAT RESCUE DIARY!

Every month we will post pictures of the many cats and kittens Friends of Ferals rescued during the previous month.

They came to us under different circumstances and there are many wonderful stories to tell. These rescues have either already been adopted into forever homes or are now in foster care with one of our volunteers until they are fully vetted and ready for adoption.

The below pictures are our August rescues. In addition to the cats shown below, we also TNR’ed (“trap-neuter-returned”) 3 cats on Brier Island, and with the assistance of the Nova Scotia SPCA mobile unit in Bear River, also spayed or neutered another 17 cats for a total of 39 rescues!

Help control the feral cat population. Please spay or neuter your pet.
