Thanks to the Lions Club for hosting their Summer Fling event in Deep Brook! We met many local residents who came out to enjoy the bake table and other goodies offered by various vendors participating in the event, including Friends of Ferals!
Talk about being at the right place at the right time, during the event we were contacted by a lady who needed help with a 9-week old kitten and Linda Titus of FOF came to the rescue!
Look who else we ran into? Peggy Ballentyne, one of the original founders of Friends of Ferals (second picture, right)!
Society for the Friends of Ferals was founded 16 years ago, incorporated a registered, non-profit Society in 2003 and registered as a Charity with the Charities Directorate in Ottawa, Ontario in March 2018.
