The Cat Rescue Diary – May 2018

Spring is the start of kitten season! In May 2018, we rescued 23 cats/kittens in Bear River, Digby, Freeport, Greenland, Plympton and Tiverton.

Several of these cats were already very pregnant. Digby “Fred” gave birth to 6 beautiful kittens (“The Brady Bunch”) who were all adopted to wonderful homes once they were weened from their mom. And mom Fred was also adopted shortly thereafter!

Bart was found in a ditch in Bear River all by himself, possibly the runt of the litter left behind. He turned out to be big, beautiful boy and was adopted by one of our volunteers!

Help control the feral cat population. Please spay or neuter your pet.
